Allan has been enjoying Linux since about 1995, discovering Perl shortly
thereafter. Currently he works as a programmer analyst at Rockefeller
University, and does part time Linux consulting work in the NYC area.  He
enjoys surfing and sailing, and dreams of owning a charter boat in
<EM>tranquilo</EM> Costa Rica.
